Brides Walk the Runway at Elaine's Summer Fashion Show

Yesterday I attended the grand opening of Elaine's Bridal Boutique (5275 University Parkway Suite 106). There was a fashion show featuring gowns from the latest collections from some of the top bridal gown designers. All the models looked great! They really showed a wide range of styles, all perfect for the Florida weather.

There was food and refreshments served for the attending brides and their friends. It was a very casual show, and I saw everyone having a good time eating, mingeling, and checking out beautiful dresses.

Teenage Vampires Party at the Beach

I recently coordinated a Twilight themed bat mitzvah reception at the Lido Beach Resort. I thought it was so cool! I really love doing themed events, especially when the theme is something you can really take off with! Twilight is so popular, and it was really fun putting together decoration ideas, and transforming a story into a party.

The colors were red, black, and white (the colors used on all 4 book covers), and the room was covered with elements from the story. Red apples on the buffet tables, character cutouts by the dance floor, red and white variegated carnations in the centerpieces, and cookies decorated to look like the book covers! The coolest thing, in my opinion, was the poster we had made. It was the young lady photoshoped in with the Twilight cast.

I really think the kids had a great time! Twilight goodies were on all the guest tables. The kids got to take home Twilight bookmarks, buttons, key chains, and vampire teeth. I even saw some of the adults pop the plastic teeth into their mouths! Hope you enjoy the pics.  Click here!
